Systems Development Engineer

Sensor readings arrive continuously. Satellite imagery arrives on its own schedule. Weather data updates constantly. All of it has to land, stay consistent, and be available when a farmer asks what to do about tomorrow.

This role keeps that machinery running.

What you will do

• Build and operate the infrastructure that carries sensor data, model output, and control commands
• Own deployment pipelines, environments, and release process
• Set up observability so we find problems before customers do
• Improve reliability and cost as data volume grows with each new farm
• Work across the boundary between platform services and field systems

What we are looking for

• Experience running production systems, not just building them
• Strong grounding in cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code
• Comfort with containers, orchestration, and CI/CD
• Debugging instinct across the whole stack, from network to application
• Calm under incident conditions

Nice to have

• Experience with streaming or message based architectures
• Background with time series data at volume
